The Website’s Owner is BioPorto Diagnostics Inc., including Antibodyshop A/S, BioPorto Diagnostics A/S, BioPorto A/S., and its and their subsidiaries, affiliates and/or related companies (collectively referred to herein as “BioPorto”, “Company”, “Website Owner”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
This Privacy Policy describes how your personal data is collected, used, and shared when you visit the web site located at www.bioporto.com/us (the “Website” or “Site”). We do not knowingly attempt to solicit or receive information from children.
We understand that you are aware of and care about your own personal privacy interests, and we take that seriously. We recognize that information privacy is an ongoing responsibility, and so we will from time to time update this Privacy Policy as we undertake new personal data practices or adopt new privacy policies.
BioPorto’s Privacy Policy also complies to The European GDPR rules, which gives individuals a number of rights.

1. Personal data
WHEN USING OUR WEBSITE
As a natural part of providing the Website, BioPorto will as the data controller collect and process certain personal data concerning you as a user. BioPorto will via the Website collect and process the following personal data when using the Website or when you submit information through the contact forms: (i) email address and phone number, (ii) name, (iii) country, (iv) other information you may provide in open text fields,(v) IP address and (vi) information about your browser, operating system and your movements and behavior on the Website and what content you are presented on the Website.
BioPorto’s collection and processing of your personal data takes place based on our legitimate interests in and for the purpose of forwarding newsletters and other relevant information (if you specifically requests this). Some data are collected by using cookies based on our legitimate interest in and for the purpose of improvement of our website and your user experience, statistical purposes for our website, functional purposes for use of our web shop and website and discount code analysis enabling us to optimize the use of discount codes and for marking purposes. When communicating with BioPorto through email, we will collect and process personal data about you for the purpose of and based on our legitimate interest in administering our relationship with you as a customer, potential customer, a supplier, as a business contact or other third party. Such personal data may be name, contact information, title, workplace, country, and other information provided by you. If you contact our other BioPorto group entities, this entity will be considered the data controller and reference to BioPorto under “Privacy and rights” will be to this group entity.
PRIVACY AND RIGHTS
All your personal data will be treated in confidence and will only be used in compliance with the purposes stated above.
Additionally, BioPorto may engage third party service provider and they will have access to and process your personal data and we may transfer personal data to other BioPorto group entities. If a third party provider processes your personal data outside the EU/EEA, this will take place based on the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield or the EU Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the transfer to our other BioPorto group entities outside the EU/EEA will be based on EU Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. You may request a copy of the agreement regulating the transfer of personal data by forwarding an email to [email protected].
All personal data processed by BioPorto will not be stored for longer than what is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Unless BioPorto under applicable law is required to store your personal data for a longer period of time, BioPorto will store your personal data as follows: BioPorto will store your personal data related to (i) forwarding newsletters and other relevant information to you until you unsubscribe from the mailing list and (ii) sale of products through our web shop for 5 years. The data stored in cookies are deleted as set out below.
Information about our customers, including personal data, may be disclosed as part of any bankruptcy, merger, sale, transfer of company assets, acquisition or similar transaction. In the event of such a transaction in which your personal data would be transferred to a third party, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you. For example, we may post a notice of the transfer of personal data on our Websites.

BioPorto uses Google Analytics, which stores and accesses cookies on the Website in order to generate statistics on the users visiting BioPorto’s Website. BioPorto also uses cookies from Google Analytics in order to optimize user-friendliness and the functionality of the Website, including the individual user’s information searches.

DO NOT TRACK
Please note that we do not alter our Website’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.
CALIFORNIA DO NOT TRACK NOTICE
BioPorto does not track its customers over time and across third party websites to provide targeted advertising and therefore does not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals.
